Outdoor learning- Bird Cakes

This week for our outdoor learning, the children used bird seed and lard to make bird cakes. They put their mix inside an empty yoghurt pot before we hung them on the trees. The children were very excited about this and talked about the links to our CARE values and how this shows care for our environment and the animals who live in it.
