The children in year one have enjoyed a trip to Woodhall Woods and Abbey Farm in Woodhall Spa. We spent time exploring the woods using autumn checklists to look for signs of autumn. We found lots of things, including leaves, conkers and pine cones. We were even lucky enough to spot some squirrels!

After some lunch at Jubilee Park, we then went to Abbey Farm and learnt about harvesting crops and where food comes from. We got to sit on a trailer and enjoy a tractor ride around the farm, where we saw carrots, leeks and cabbages growing.

We all had a fantastic day!
