.Over the past two weeks. the children in Mr Scrupps' class have been creating models of Thorn Island, inspired by our English learning and the book  'The Thorn Island Adventure'. Working together, the children used the imagery from the book and their own imagination to design and make their models. They used paper folding techniques to support their structures adding detail with sugar paper, tissue paper and matchsticks. The finished models were fantastic and underlined the developing mature attitude and collaboration of our amazing Year 6's!
