The Lighthouse Keepers Lunch

Over the past week in English, the children in Miss Melloy's class have been looking at 'The Lighthouse Keerpers Lunch' by David and Ronda Armitage. The children particularly enjoyed the part of the story where Mrs Grinling tricks the seagulls by giving them mustard sandwiches! So today, we followed some instructions and made our very own mustard sandwiches. The children were very excited to make the sandwiches but lots of them agreed with the seagulls and said they would not have been happy with mustard sandwiches for lunch!
