Today, the children participated in several activities in their outdoor learning session. They began the afternoon with a teamwork exercise, working together to lower a stick to the ground (it's harder than you might think!) Then, they made tree guardians, which legend tells us are responsible for a successful harvest and represent new life. It is believed that they make sure the seasons come and go and ensure plants and animals are all safe and healthy. Finally, the children were introduced to the Yogi Bear campfire song.
