Proud to be part of

World Book Day

As a part of our celebration of World Book Day, the Year 1 children took a book and their English books up to the Year 6 classroom so that they could share stories with the Year 6's. The children were very excited to take their English books after finishing writing their very own stories in English that day. 

It was lovely to see the Year 1's and 6's enjoying spending some time together and making new friends over books. The children had such a brilliant time and have even asked when we are doing this again! One child said to me as we were walking back 'This was the best day ever!'
