In celebration of the incredible children's author, Roald Dahl, Boston West Academy held a themed day on what would have been his 103rd birthday.

In year 3, the children focused on the story of George's Marvellous Medicine. They created their own 'marvellous medicine' concoctions using natural resources. Then they wrote out some beautifully detailed instructions on how to create their their concoctions.

In the afternoon, year 3 joined in with BBC Teach and their Roald Dahl theme of bravery. The children had to think of a time they had been brave and create a brave character based around this experience. They thoroughly enjoyed this!
