Year 3 had an amazing day at Flag Fen today. In the morning they made their own Stone Age clay pot and became archaeologists. They discovered some artefacts and had a go at identifying what era they thought they were from and what they were used for. In the afternoon they went inside a replica roundhouse, sat around a fire and listened to a story- a myth! They then went to see the preserved remains of a bridge and a replica log boat alongside the preserved log boats that are covered up and stored in fridge temperatures. Year 3 loved the appearance of the sheep throughout the day too!
