Raft making

This week in science, the children in Miss Melloy's class continued to learn about floating and sinking. They were set the challenge of making a raft for the Gingerbread Man to keep him dry as he crossed the river! The children had to use their knowledge from last week to pick materials to make a raft that would float. They worked well in small teams to create their rafts. We enjoyed testing them in the water tray, it was lots of fun! 😊
