Today the children in Mr Wilson's class spent the day at the "We'll Meet Again" War Museum at Freiston Shore. They were given a fantastic experience by "Sarge," "Mrs Sarge" and "Corporal Overton" who allowed the children to handle WW2 artefacts, learn about rationing, play with 1940s toys and sample what life was like for people during the Blitz. Some lucky children were awarded with special badges that give them free admission to the museum for life! All of the children left with huge smiles on their faces and the memories they made will stay with them for years to come. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers at the museum for creating this experience for our lucky children.
