As part of their outdoor learning topic, 'The adventurous outdoors', year 4 worked collaboratively to complete a blindfolded obstacle course (known as Nightline) that winded through trees and around other obstacles such as tyres and the trim trail. This lesson was a test of communication skills, leadership and risk-awareness whilst enhancing trust within a class.

To complete the course, the children were put into pairs, with one child blindfolded and the other child acting as their leader, guiding them through the obstacles. The blindfolded children had to keep hold of the rope at all times.
