Today, a group of children from Mr Wilson and Mr Scrupps classes made tree guardians, using mud and natural resources. Legend tells us that tree guardians are responsible for a successful harvest and represent new life. It is believed that they make sure the seasons come and go and ensure plants and animals are all safe and healthy. In addition, some children planted potatoes and prepared the soil, ready for sewing seeds, later in the week.
