Today in Mrs Harris' class the children earned about vertebrates and invertebrates. This is to help them with both their science and English learning over the coming weeks. After learning about the backbone being the key difference between the two groups, the children cut out different animals and sorted them into the correct groups even adding their own. Some of the animals such as the crab and snake were particularly tricky so we had to find out more information.
